Shield Capability Brochure
Assignment: Create emotionally empathetic images illustrating specific Shield activities for a Service Brochure. Documentary style, minimum lighting and/or intrusion. Museum quality duo-tone prints, (grayscale), four color press, ‘Quintessence’ deluxe paper stock.
WJW visited and shot in a half dozen locations in Southern & Northern California. “Some shots, such as the wheelchair repair shop make themselves. It came together as soon as the client & his dog appeared. You need only choose your vantage point, bang off a few dozen exposures, and make a great print. Others, the Patient Home-Coming for one, were more challenging; directing the amateur cast, composed of employees, patients & their families.”
